The Scope of Work of this project covers design and detailed AL DUQHM AL BALUSHI in House Engineering and Manufacturing of Heavy metal Pipelines engineering, procurement, supply, fabrication, construction/ installation, testing and commissioning of carbon steel pipelines (approximately length of 28 KM with various sizes from 16” to 36”) with pigging facilities and manifolds. Carry out mechanical and pipeline works, electrical works, instrumentation works, civil and structural works and cathodic protection works and tie-in work with existing lines and facilities as required. Carry out all other work which could reasonably inferred to be deemed as necessary to provide with complete, proven and operable facility.

Project’s scope comprises the design construction, completion remedying defects during Maintenance Period of the Works of the new Shadadiya Industrial Zone fully being developed by Al Duqhm Al Balushi CO LLC

The design and construction and remedying of defects of the new Sambhram Industrial Zone of a total area of approximately 4.9 million m2 and having a land use profile including industrial plots ranging from 1,000m2 together with plots for General Services, Utilities and a Technological Park and with assigned plots for various Administrative Offices, Environmental Monitoring Centre, Mosque, Health Centers, Fire Stations, Petrol Stations, Retail, Security, Restaurants, Truck Service Centre, Roads and Parking areas, Truck Waiting Area, etc., including the following:

  • Site surveying work.
  • Soil analysis, physical, mechanical, chemical, and biological, including underground water.
  • Climate and hydrological studies
  • Traffic Impact and Transportation Studies
  • Preparation of a detailed Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) covering all effecting parameters of the
  • different components of the project.
  • The design and construction of the infrastructure works necessary for the project, including:
